Current Interests

As Head of IT Services, Claire Moore leads the team that provides all corporate IT, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and Telecoms services to NPL. She is responsible for setting the strategic direction of corporate IT at NPL and for delivery of key IT implementation projects to support NPL's science and business objectives.

The IT Services team deliver a wide variety of technical services in support of NPL staff and guests, including PC provisioning and support, technical application development, network and data management and IT security.

Biography

Claire joined NPL in 2002 to support and develop the corporate business systems, and was promoted to Head of Business Systems in 2006. She has project managed a number of upgrade and implementation lifecycles to the corporate business system and is experienced in IT project delivery.

Prior to joining NPL, Claire worked as a Technical Consultant for Cap Gemini , an IT consultancy, where she was responsible for delivering technical development projects for a variety of customers.

Claire graduated from the University of Warwick in the early 90s with a degree in Philosophy and Politics and also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Computing for Commerce and Industry from the Open University.
