Role

Chris Hunt leads the Electronics Interconnection team at NPL. He has presented widely at international events and published extensively. He has successfully managed large international projects such as a European collaborative project looking at SIR testing, and took a leading role in the introduction of lead-free in the UK.

Chris is chair of the UK standards committees that shadows IEC in the soldering and assembly area, and is a member of that IEC TC91 committee. He also attends a number of IPC committees contributing to the formulation of assembly standards and has a wealth of experience in the area of electronics interconnection testing.
