Biography

Aneta Sikora completed her MSc in Medical Analytics from the Silesian University of Medicine in Poland. In 2010 she obtained a PhD from the University of Portsmouth, Biophysics Department, where she was focused on single molecule interactions within the type I R-M multisubunit and multifunctional enzyme using AFM, exploring the possibility of using an enzyme as a nanoactuator for a toxicity biosensor.

In 2012, Aneta joined the Surface & Nanoanalysis Group at NPL. HerĀ current research focuses on nano scale imaging and nanomechemical properties of emulsions (AFM) and characterisation of nanoparticle dispersion within a liquid environment using a wide range of analytical techniques.
