Tape
'Measurement is knowledge' – the Beginner's
Guide to Measurement is for people with little or
no experience of making accurate measurements
but who wish to find out more about them.

The Beginner's Guide to Measurement covers key topics such as the history of measurement, fundamental measurement concepts, and practical information on measurement issues.

The guide was produced by the National Physical Laboratory, with support from the UK's other national measurement institutes: the National Measurement Office, LGC and NEL. The work was funded by the National Measurement System.
