NPL scientist Michael de Podesta has had an article published in Chemistry and Industry magazine discussing how public attitudes towards climate change have evolved over recent years.

In the article Michael talks about the facts behind climate change and some of the more disputed areas of the science, such as predictions over future temperature rises and sea level changes. Improved climate data is needed to validate such predictions and one of the key aims of the Centre for Carbon Measurement at NPL is to reduce the uncertainties in this data.

Chemistry and Industry is published by the Society of Chemical Industry and is a leading source of news and opinion in the arena of chemical technology.
