Radiotherapy Standards Users' Group Meeting - 5th June 2007, NPL

The Radiotherapy Standards Users' Group meets at NPL about every eighteen months, attended by around fifty radiotherapy physicists from throughout the UK and Ireland. Presentations are given by invited speakers and representatives of NPL on various topics including photon, electron and proton dosimetry, brachytherapy and chemical dosimetry. The meetings enable members to:

• Hear about - and influence - the dosimetry research programme
• Learn about measurement techniques, regulations and codes of practice, and the use of dosimetry standards
• Exchange views on the calibration services offered
• View the radiation dosimetry facilities at NPL
