Nuclear Data Advice and Links
Nuclear data are available from direct measurements (published in the scientific literature) or from compilations of measurements. There can be differences between compilations depending on the evaluation procedures used and the availability of results from measurements at the time the compilation was put together. Several organisations worldwide are currently involved in nuclear data evaluations.
Nuclear Data Enquiry Service
If you require nuclear data for a particular application and are unsure of where to obtain reliable values, please use this service by completing the form below. In most cases the service is free of charge, supported by UK Government as part of the National Measurement System. A separate arrangement can be made if lengthy evaluation studies or experimental measurements are needed. Although every effort will be made to answer your enquiry, it may be necessary to refer you to nuclear data experts at other organisations.

Use of NEA Databank facilities
The NEA Databank offers free-of-charge access to Nuclear Reaction Data and Nuclear Structure Data. Full details of the services can be found here
The Databank also collects and distributes a range of computer programs for cross section calculations, reactor fuel management, radiological safety etc. This service is available here
