A calibration service for ophthalmic applicators has been developed by NPL's Radiation Dosimetry team.

• Calibration of Ru-106 and Sr-90 curved and planar applicators.
• Service is available on demand.
• Turnaround time approximately two weeks.
• Calibration in terms of absorbed doserate to water, normally at 0 mm and 2 mm depth.
• Uncertainty of calibration is estimated to be ± 7 % (k=2)
