This one-day workshop presents progress at the frontiers of fundamental research in therapeutic ultrasound and how they can be translated into clinical impact.

Topics include:

  • Dose metrics for thermal and mechanical therapies, as well as drug delivery and adjuvant therapies
  • Dose delivery to moving targets
  • Dose with uncertainties in material properties, uncertainties in treatment planning algorithms

Who should attend?

Scientists, engineers and clinicians working in all aspects of therapeutic ultrasound and ultrasound-assisted drug delivery.

The workshop is sponsored by the EPSRC Network+ Therapy ultrasound network for drug delivery and ablation research

Abstract submission

The deadline for abstract submission is Wednesday 20 September.

We are inviting short presentations along the following themes:

  • Dose metrics for thermal and mechanical therapies as well as drug delivery and adjuvant therapies
  • Dose delivery to moving targets and through bone
  • Dose with uncertainties in material properties
  • Uncertainties in treatment planning algorithms
