Workshop on Electromagnetic Materials Measurement

Date:
13 June 2013
Description:

The aim of this workshop is to give practical advice and guidance on best practice for electromagnetic material measurements on dielectrics and other materials at RF and MW frequencies.

The presentations will be given by metrologists from National Measurement Institutes (NMIs) across Europe, who have practical experience of the measurement techniques to be covered. The schedule will allow plenty of time to mingle with them and other attendees, to share experiences and to obtain advice on measurement problems.

The workshop is being run by the European Electromagnetic Materials Measurements and Applications Club (EMMA-Club). It will be hosted by SIQ, the Slovenian National Measurement Institute.

Who should attend?

All scientists and engineers interested in characterising electromagnetic materials at RF and Microwave Frequencies, those familiar with the area as well as those just starting out.

The EMMA-Club is funded through the EMRP Project IND02-EMINDA and is jointly funded by the EMRP participating countries within EURAMET and the European Union.
