Win free instrument type-testing at the Air Quality and Emissions Show
Companies developing gas sensors do not always have the necessary facilities to verify all aspects of their instrument performance. In order to be able to sell into certain markets it is essential to obtain the appropriate type-testing accreditation, such as MCERTS, which gives confidence to customers/legislators that the technology is fit for its intended purpose.
NPL has a Technology Innovation Fund (TIF) that can assist innovative enterprises developing gas-sensing technology for environmental monitoring.
At the forthcoming Air Quality and Emissions Show at Telford, 13-14 March, we will be offering companies the opportunity to win a 10-day secondment to NPL to help them complete the development of their gas sensors prior to submission for type-testing.
The winner of the prize will be provided with the opportunity to make use of NPL's dedicated suite of test and calibration facilities that are accredited under ISO EN 17025 for carrying out instrument tests to the MCERTS Performance Standards and Test Procedures and EN Standard 15267-3.
The time could be used establish whether the sensors comply with the MCERTS cross interference performance criteria or to develop of a laboratory and field test programme for future certification of the instrumentation.
Come to the NPL stand, Number 27, and register your interest.
