Keep up-to-date with the latest ambient air and emissions measurements at the Air Quality and Emissions Show 2013

Scientists from the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) will be giving independent measurement advice from Stand 27 at the Air Quality and Emissions Show (AQE) in Telford, England, on Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 March 2013.

We can advise on ambient air and emissions measurements, greenhouse gas emissions measurement and reporting, remote sensing of fugitive emissions, MCERTS type approval of CEMS and calibration traceable to National Standards.

NPL's Rod Robinson, past Chairman of the Source Testing Association and Vice Chairman of CEN TC 264, will give a presentation at the conference entitled 'Developments in monitoring methods and requirements - European Standards, BREFS and Directives'. He will outline the emissions monitoring methods standardised in Europe, explaining how these fit together with the European Directives and the Best Available Technique (BAT) reference documents (BREFS).

We are also giving free workshops on the following subjects:

  • Assessing the Long-Term Performance of the UK Emissions Monitoring Industry from PT Scheme Data - Marc Coleman
  • New Developments in CCS Instrumentation (C Save)
