Atmospheric science at NPL: Improving the UK’s measurements for climate, environment and security.

NPL’s work in atmospheric science, emissions monitoring and security covers a range of techniques and applications linked by the common theme of the measurement of chemical and biological compounds in the atmosphere.

These areas of work align with the UK Government’s strategies for climate change, and the environment and the UK Resilience Programme, which addresses security issues.
