Larger cylinders with no rental costs
NPL's Gas Standards are supplied in 10 litre cylinders, filled in excess of 100 bar. The cylinders are sold, eliminating cylinder rental costs. This proves financially beneficial when customers require gas standards over significant periods of time.
High Purity Gas Analysis
The NPL Trace Gas Analysis Facility is capable of providing traceable measurements of the key contaminant species found in high-purity gases.
NPL can supply and certify a range of high-purity gases for trace impurities.
The range of high-purity gases and trace impurities includes: Air, SO2, NO, NO2, N2O, NH3, N2, CO, CO2, H2, O2, and Hydrocarbons (both CH4 and Non CH4 Species).

We offer a range of services for the calibration of gas analysers. Calibration of your analysers at NPL, to internationally recognised standards, is a cost-effective way of ensuring that they are operating correctly and accurately.

Natural Gas Proficiency Testing Scheme

- NPL offer a certification service to speciality gas producers and end users, which ensures their gas mixtures are traceable to international standards.
- Standard gas mixtures are an accurate and cost-effective method for calibrating air quality monitors. They are stable and provide a repeatable reference concentration that can be used for regular calibrations. They are suitable for calibrating all types of analyser (including flame photometric, UV fluorescence, chemiluminescence and optical UV or IR).
- Standard gas mixtures provide an accurate and cost-effective method for calibrating evidential breath-alcohol analysers. They are stable and provide a repeatable reference concentration that can be used for regular calibrations.
- Standard gas mixtures provide and accurate and cost-effective method for calibrating stack gas emission monitors. They are stable and provide a repeatable reference concentration that can be used for regular calibrations.
