We offer calibration of Resistance standards from 100 μΩ to 1 GΩ, and DC Voltage standards of both the electronic and cell types. We provide electrical traceability to other National Measurement Institutes, accredited calibration laboratories, and directly to industry. Our measurements also underpin the services offered by many other sections of NPL.
We have a proven track record in manufacturing cryogenic current comparators for resistance measurement, and electronics for biasing Josephson array voltage standards.

- Resistance and Voltage Calibration Schedule.
- The cryogenic current comparator (CCC) is a device, which enables the accurate measurement of the ratio of two direct currents.
- NPL provides calibration services for resistance standards ranging from 0.1 mΩ to 1 GΩ. Measurement capability exists for low power dc measurements, high power dc measurements of current shunts and ac impedance measurements.
- NPL provides calibration services for standard cells and electronic reference standards at 1.0 V, 1.018 V and 10 V.
