What methods are used to test for doping?

Fairness in sport is essential but, for a few athletes, the desire to win has led to the use of performance enhancing drugs. The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) currently bans over 400 drugs in sport. Drug testing uses analytical measurements to catch cheats, ensure athlete welfare and provide assurance that supplements are not contaminated with banned substances.
