Buses 281, 285, R68, 33, 481 and X26 serve Teddington. Please note that buses do not accept cash and you will need to purchase a one-day travelcard or a pay-as-you-go Oyster card before travelling. Alternatively, you can pay on the bus by using a contactless card issued in the UK. It may also be possible to use some contactless cards issued outside the UK.
Trains from London Waterloo leave regularly - the journey time is approx. 30 mins. Please use the TFL Journey Planner to plan your journey.

Please note if you are using a GPS/satellite navigation system to get to NPL, then ensure that the postcode TW11 0LW directs you to the entrance on Hampton Road and not the old site entrance on Queens Road.
Getting to NPL from Heathrow airport
Bus 285 travels between Heathrow to Teddington and stops outside NPL. The X26 is a faster bus from Heathrow and stops at Broad Street in Teddington, a short walk from NPL. Please note payment information set out above.
We are approximately 30 minutes from Heathrow by taxi.
If you are attending an event in Bushy House, please use the Queens Road Gate.
Queens Road Gate is only for access to Bushy House, you will not be able to access to the main NPL site (please use Hampton Road Gate for NPL Reception).
The Queens Road Gate is directly opposite Park Lane. Once through the gate, take the first exit off the roundabout and proceed along Bushy Road. Take the left hand fork to the next roundabout and take the second exit, Glazebrook Road. Bushy House is on the right. There is limited parking outside Bushy House with overflow parking in the car parks off Dora Jordan Road.
Please note, if you are using GPS to find Bushy House, please use postcode TW11 0EB.
