Know what you are smelling?

The accurate measurement of odorant gases is essential in supporting the role of local authorities in improving air quality.

Odour measurements support legislation which aims to prevent or reduce the negative environmental effects of landfill.

Know what you are smelling

NPL's research has determined the most suitable method for taking grab samples, which will decrease the number of false results obtained. This reduces any loss of sample when transferring it for analysis and coupled with a newly developed measurement facility allows analysis of odorant gases to be carried out much more accurately and reliably.
