Supply of tissue mimicking materials

Tissue mimicking materials We make two types of soft tissue mimicking materials (TMMs). The first of these is an agar-based material following the recipe given in IEC60601-2-37. This material contains scattering particles and was originally developed as part of a European Framework project for Doppler ultrasound testing. The other is gelatine-based - it is intended to be non-scattering and follows a recipe in IEC62306.
